Our Foundation, established in 2014, aims at providing a fresh perspective to various challenges in areas such as education, quality of life, social innovation and sustainability.
Connecting birds and people for fun, knowledge and conservation
In 2020 we launched Sofia Bird Walks - an initiative of the foundation, aimed at educating thousands of people about birds and biodiversity in the Bulgarian capital and all over the country. We run free monthly walks for diverse groups of people - from nature lovers and birders to architects and IT specialists. We also create engaging online content reaching tens of thousands of people on social media every week.

Providing diverse communities with the best possible project-based learning available
Since 2015, we have created a network of schools and local nonprofits all over the country - from small village schools with a multitude of ethnic groups and to leading primary schools in their respective regions. All of them now have access to quality project-based learning programs with design thinking - the leading method for innovation worldwide. Our partners - like the New Path Foundation in Glojene, Northwestern Bulgaria and Teach for Bulgaria with their country-wide reach, ensure that we enable the development of 21-st century skills in all kinds of environments.
Charting a vision for quality of life and wellbeing in a European capital
In 2015 we published our Wellbeing Sofia report. It outlines the importance of focusing on quality of life and well-being, charts a vision for using them as key drivers for development, lists valuable examples and provides concrete recommendations for the Bulgarian capital and its local authorities. In the process of creating it, we engaged various stakeholders from the capital, launched a conference on the topic and provided case studies from all over the world.
